Pharmaceuticals preparation QC Multispec is a laboratory analyser designed for the control of hospital preparations: cytotoxics, pain-killers, antibiotics… It enables the identification of molecules and solvents and the simultaneous quantification of the molecules. Multispec is based on the coupling of a Fourier Transform middle infrared spectrometer (FTIR) and a UV/Visible spectrometer (Microdom patent). Sniff’Brett is a liquid medium for the detection of Brettanomyces populations, more specifically those capable of producing ethyl-phenols (stable-, band-aid-, rancid cheese-deviation).

Laboratories with no or low microbiology expertise can assess at a low cost the level of contamination with “hazardous” Brettanomyces (the colonies that produce ethyl-phenols). This test is now available to cellars equipped with a small oenology laboratory as well as to larger laboratories (oenology consultants).
